MICA Network has funded LoopX Innovation Inc. project called: "AI-powered Interoperable Collision Avoidance System for Underground Mining"

LoopX has received MICA funding for two underground mining automation projects: Reliable 5G-enabled Autonomous Driving (CFP3): Development and demonstration of the industry’s first 5Gbased autonomous underground vehicle system using Infrastructure Sensor Units (ISUs).AutoROC (CFP4): An AI-powered system that uses vision-based sensors to track underground vehicle operations—like loading, hauling, and dumping—without operator input. The cloudbased platform uses generative AI to generate real-time insights and automated reports.
